The Organo Pear was designed to complement the high ceilings, white walls and large windows that make up the existing space to create an old world character. A contemporary and antique mix of pieces gives the apartment distinct personality and a cool, understated bonhomie feel and the custom-designed light and installation create interesting vistas inside, while maintaining an air of simplicity and openness.
MY CHELSEA BOUTIQUE HOTEL
Suspended above the restaurant and café of MyChelsea Hotel, Pear3 is an interwoven arrangement of glass pear shapes that forms an artistic installation in the middle of this boutique hotel. Using the existing metal framework of the site, the installation is designed to appear to integrate within its surroundings whilst providing a statement piece within the restaurant.

These hand-blown lighting pendants provide a contrast to the graphic black mesh and white walls of Skipstop House by dropping delicate glass objects throughout the space. The pendants are decorated by intricate brass wrapped around organic, pear-like forms and hanging from black, braided silk ropes.
